Zen Technologies gains over 3% on signing MoU with AVT Simulation in US – CNBC TV18



Zen Technologies Ltd shares gained more than 3% on Thursday, December 5, after the company announced entering into a strategic partnership with AVT Simulation to expand its operations in the United States.

The defence training and anti-drone solutions major signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Florida-based company Applied Visual Technology Inc. DBA AVT Simulation on December 5 in Florida, marking its expansion in the US market.

AVT Simulation is a premier provider of customised training systems, based in Orlando, Florida. It has been providing advanced training solutions to defense, government, and commercial applications with over 25 years of simulation experience, the company informed the stock exchanges in a filing.

The partnership between the two companies is set to revolutionise simulation and training solutions for defence and security forces, Zen Technologies said.

The collaboration between the two companies integrates Zen Tech’s ‘cutting-edge’ technologies with AVT’s expertise in delivering tailored simulation systems, the company informed the bourses.

Under the collaboration, both the firms will curate next-generation solutions for defence, emergency response and commercial applications, to meet the increasing demand for immersive, cost-effective training platforms in the US.

The global leader in defence training and anti-drone solutions, Zen Technologies showcased its advanced technologies at the world’s largest event for modelling, simulation, and training, ‘I/ITSEC 2024’ held in Orlando.

At this global event (I/ITSEC 2024), Zen presented its latest advancements, highlighting solutions such as the Tank Containerized Crew Gunnery Simulator, Infantry Virtual Training Simulation System (IVTSS), and the AI-powered robotic platforms.

Zen Technologies is recognised for its innovation with more than 155 patents and 1,000 systems deployed globally.

The Chairman and Managing Director of Zen Technologies Ltd, Ashok Atluri, has said that the United States is the largest and most dynamic defence market in the world, and I/ITSEC serves as an ideal platform to showcase the company’s capabilities, while connecting with key stakeholders.

“Our partnership with AVT Simulation underscores our commitment to providing innovative, scalable solutions for the rapidly evolving US defence market. With this collaboration, we aim to set new benchmarks in defence training and simulation, enhancing military readiness and safety across the board,” said Ashok Atluri.

Shares of Zen Technologies were trading 2.65% higher at ₹1,886.3 apiece on the BSE at 2:33 pm.
