Zen Technologies expands into US Defence market with AVT Simulation partnership
Zen Technologies Limited has announced a strategic partnership with AVT Simulation to penetrate the US defence market, signed today in Florida. The collaboration aims to develop advanced training and simulation solutions for defence and security forces.
The shares of Zen Technologies Limited were trading at ₹1,863.90 up by ₹27.10 or 1.48 per cent on the NSE today at 1.41 pm.
At the I/ITSEC 2024 conference in Orlando, Zen showcased its technological capabilities, including the Tank Containerized Crew Gunnery Simulator and Infantry Virtual Training Simulation System (IVTSS). The company, which has over 155 patents and 1,000 systems deployed globally, is targeting growth in the US defence sector.
Ashok Atluri, Chairman and Managing Director of Zen Technologies, highlighted the significance of the partnership, emphasizing their commitment to innovative, scalable solutions. The alliance combines Zen’s cutting-edge technologies with AVT Simulation’s expertise in delivering customised training systems.
The move comes amid growing Indian defence exports to the United States, with bilateral defence technology trade exceeding $2.8 billion in the past five years. Kyle Crooks, CEO of AVT Simulation, expressed enthusiasm about enhancing solutions and improving warfighter effectiveness through this collaboration.
Zen Technologies continues to expand its portfolio of defense technologies, including AI-powered robotic platforms like Hawkeye and Barbarik-URCWS, positioning itself as a key player in the global defense training market.
