Spreading its wings to Europe, Indian carrier InterGlobe Aviations (IndiGo) on Wednesday launched flight services to Amsterdam from Mumbai, the airline’s second long-haul overseas service to be rolled out in as many days. The Gurugram-based airline, which has over 400 aircraft in its fleet, in May this year said it was looking to introduce direct flights to London, Athens, and eight other international cities in the current financial year. Currently, IndiGo flies to over 40 international destinations. The new Mumbai-Amsterdam service will operate thrice weekly with IndiGo’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

KPI Green Energy Ltd on Wednesday said it has incorporated a special purpose vehicle (SPV) to focus on the renewable energy sector. The main objective of the SPV is to generate, develop, transform, distribute, transmit, sale, supply any kind of power or electrical energy using wind energy, solar energy or other renewable sources of energy, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Hindustan Zinc has reported its highest-ever Q1 mined metal output at 265 kilo tonnes, up 1% YoY. However, production dipped 15 per cent sequentially due to routine mine preparation. Silver output and refined metal production also saw modest declines, according to a release by the company.

NBCC Ltd has bagged a Rs 355-crore contract from FDCM Gorewada Zoo Ltd. In a regulatory filing on Wednesday, NBCC said the company has bagged a contract for ‘project management and supervision services to execute the African Zoo, Safari Plaza, Animal Hospital & Quarantine facility and other allied work’. The value of the contract is ₹354.88 crore compared to 9.19 mt in the year-ago period, according to a statement. Its sales rose by 14 per cent to 11.51 mt in the first quarter of FY26 compared to 10.07 mt in the first quarter of 2024-25, the company said in the statement.

RITES has bagged two orders worth ₹64.01 crore from African Rail Company and South Western Railways on Tuesday. In an exchange filing, the company said that while it received an order worth ₹37.81 crore from South Western Railways, the order from African Rail Company is valued at $3.6 million, worth ₹26.2 crore.

Aurobindo Pharma informed the exchanges that it has received marketing authorisation for its cancer treatment medication Dazublys. In an exchange filing, the company said CuraTeQ Biologics, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company dedicated to oncology and immunology segments, has received authorisation from the European authorities.

Tata Power Company has been ordered to pay $490.32 million in damages to Kleros Capital Partners, along with interest and legal costs, following a partial award by an arbitral tribunal under the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) rules. The tribunal, in a 2:1 majority decision, also awarded Kleros simple interest of 5.33 per cent on the damages from November 30, 2020, until the date of payment. In addition, Tata Power has been directed to pay $8.29 million in legal costs, with interest at the same rate from July 1, 2025. The Company is in the process of reviewing the contents of the award and is evaluating all options, including challenging the award.

Voltas has received a show cause notice from the office of the Principal Commissioner, Central GST Commissionerate, Dehradun, alleging short payment of GST for the financial years 2018-19 to 2020-21 by Universal Comfort Products Ltd (which got merged with the company during the financial year 2020-21). The Show Cause Notice seeks explanation as to why the tax amount of ₹265.25 crore should not be demanded along with interest and penalty.
