Of these, one project is of 249 MW and the other is of 149 MW. The orders are from a renowned client engaged in the business of owning, developing and operating renewable power projects in India, the company said in a stock exchange filing.

The supply of the solar modules is scheduled to commence in FY26.

Last week, Waaree Energies said its wholly-owned subsidiary Waaree Forever Energies, received a letter of award to develop a 170 MW solar power plant in Madhya Pradesh from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Ltd.
The plant will be integrated into the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS), enabling the generation and transmission of clean energy. The renewable energy produced will be supplied to Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Ltd and Indian Railways.

Earlier this month, the company said it received accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) for its testing lab at the Chikhli facility in Gujarat. This is the company’s second NABL-certified facility, with the first being its Tumb manufacturing unit.

According to Waaree’s CEO, Amit Paithankar, the development allows the company to conduct high-quality testing domestically, saving time and resources while reducing reliance on foreign labs.

Waaree Energies shares were trading 1.6% lower at ₹3,165.6 apiece at 11.40 am on Monday, December 16. The stock has gained 35.35% this year, so far.
