Vedanta to consider fourth interim dividend on December 16; Stock up 100% in 2024 – CNBC TV18



Anil Agarwal-owned Vedanta Ltd. has announced that it will hold a board meeting on Monday, December 16 to consider a fourth interim dividend.

The board meeting was earlier supposed to be held in October but was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

In September this year, Vedanta declared its third interim dividend of ₹20 per share, following two earlier announcements of ₹11 and ₹4 respectively.

In total, Vedanta, so far has paid ₹35 as an interim dividend per share to its shareholders in financial year 2025. The record date for the fourth interim dividend has been fixed as December 24, 2024, according to Vedanta’s exchange filing.

Shares of Vedanta ended 2.7% higher on Wednesday at ₹513.8. The stock has nearly doubled in value so far with 99% returns year-to-date. This has been the best calendar year performance for the stock since 2021, during which it had gained 110%.
