Gaming and Esports company Nazara Technologies has raised Rs 495 crore from existing investors Arpit Khandelwal and Mithun Sacheti-led entity — a move that would trigger an open offer of 26 per cent, the company said on Monday. Axana Estates’ designated partners include Arpit Khandelwal and Mithun Sacheti, who are exiting investors in the gaming company. They are infusing the funds through a preferential issue at a price of Rs 990 per share.. Arpit Khandelwal is the Founder & Managing Partner of Plutus Wealth Management LLP and Mithun Sacheti, tech entrepreneur and Founder of Caratlane.

Abhishek Lodha-promoted Macrotech Developers Ltd has filed a case against his younger brother’s real estate firm House of Abhinandan Lodha, alleging the use of similar brand ‘Lodha’ to market its properties. Abhishek, who helms the flagship company of the Group, Macrotech Developers, has claimed that the “Lodha” brand name has been built over the last four decades and Rs 1,700 crore has been spent by his company in brand building in the last decade alone.

Reliance Power has appointed Neeraj Parakh as Chief Executive Officer. His appointment is effective from Monday for a period of three years, Reliance Power said in an exchange filing. Parakh’s appointment as the company’s Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is subject to the approval of members, it further said.

Hitachi Energy India will seek shareholders’ approval to raise Rs 4,200 crore through issues of equity shares or other securities. In an exchange filing, the company said, the voting will start at 9 am on January 22 and continue till 5 pm on February 20. As per the notice, it will seek approval to raise up to Rs 4,200 crore by way of public or private offering, including a qualified institutions placement (QIP), to eligible investors through an issuance of equity shares or other eligible securities.
