Sensex, Nifty, Share Price Updates: On Friday, equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty experienced a rebound, rising nearly 1% each, fueled by buying in major stocks like Bharti Airtel and Reliance Industries. The BSE Sensex increased by 759.05 points (0.96%) to close at 79,802.79, after peaking at 79,923.90 during the day. Similarly, the NSE Nifty rose 216.95 points (0.91%) to reach 24,131.10. Among the notable gainers in the Sensex, Bharti Airtel, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Reliance Industries stood out, while Power Grid and Infosys lagged behind. Shares of Adani Group also performed well, with Adani Green Energy surging by 21.72%. In the broader markets, the BSE small cap index climbed 0.76%. Meanwhile, Asian markets showed mixed results; European markets were down, and US markets were closed for Thanksgiving. Global oil prices dipped slightly, continuing a trend following a significant drop the previous day.
