Sterling & Wilson Renewable Energy appoints Ajit Pratap Singh as CFO
Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWSOLAR) has appointed Ajit Pratap Singh as its new Chief Financial Officer effective March 24, 2025, the company announced today.
The shares of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWSOLAR) closed on the NSE today at ₹235, down by ₹7.15 or 2.95 per cent.
The appointment was approved by the company’s Board of Directors following recommendations from both the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee. Singh will also serve as a Key Managerial Personnel of the company.
The current interim CFO, Sandeep Mathew, will step down from the position at the close of business hours on March 23, 2025, but will continue in his role as Head of Investor Relations.
Singh brings extensive credentials to the position, holding degrees in science, law, and finance, along with memberships in multiple professional accounting bodies including the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
His previous work experience spans various companies including Transrail Lighting Limited, Vedanta Aluminium Limited, JSW Bengal Steel Limited, and South African Coal Mine Holdings, among others.
