Smartworks Coworking Spaces zoom 15% in trading debut over ₹407 IPO price
Shares of Smartworks Coworking Spaces zoomed nearly 15 per cent following a quite but positive debut over the issue price of ₹407 on Thursday.
On the BSE, the stock listed at ₹436.10, a 7.14 per cent, and soared to a high of ₹469. On the NSE, it debuted at ₹435, up 6.87 per cent and rose to ₹469.25.
As per the NSE data, the company’s market valuation stood at ₹5,221.51 crore.
The ₹583-crore IPO was subscribed 13.45 times subscription on the closing day of bidding, at a price band of ₹387-407 per share. The company mobilised ₹173.64 crore from anchor investors ahead of the IPO.
Shivani Nyati, Head of Wealth at Swastika Investmart Ltd., suggested that knowledgeable investors may consider allocating modest sums for the medium to long term, while others might choose to book profits.
Nyati added that the company has posted growth in its top lines with cash EBITDA at gross levels. “Its thrust on MNC customers with long-term contracts has yielded desired benefits.”
The stock traded at ₹453.75 on the BSE as at 11.31 am, 4.05 per cent above the listing price.
