Sarveshwar Foods lands ₹49.8 crore Basmati Rice export deal with US distributor
Sarveshwar Foods Limited has secured a significant export order to supply 5,350 metric tons of Basmati rice to I SIFOL LLC, a prominent US distributor, valued at approximately ₹49.8 crore ($5.84 million), the company announced today.
The shares of Sarveshwar Foods Limited were trading at ₹10.33 up by ₹0.47 or 4.77 per cent on the NSE today at 9.53 am.
I SIFOL LLC, established in New York in 2008, operates an extensive distribution network reaching over 1,000 ethnic retail outlets and 1,500 ethnic restaurants across the United States. The company is known for its compliance with US regulatory agencies including USDA and FDA.
This order reinforces Sarveshwar Foods’ position as a leading Basmati rice exporter. The company, based in Jammu, holds multiple certifications including ISO 22000:2018 and USFDA, and specializes in organic products under its Nimbark brand.
The export deal is part of Sarveshwar Foods’ strategic expansion plan. The company is currently exploring additional partnerships with US retail and supermarket chains, aiming to introduce its organic product range to a broader global market.
Sarveshwar Foods is also developing a new product line to meet growing demand for healthier and more diverse food options, highlighting its commitment to innovation and international market penetration.
