Rajasthan Investment Summit: Anand Mahindra shares plans to double Club Mahindra resorts and add jobs – CNBC TV18
Mahindra emphasised the positive impact of Club Mahindra’s operations, noting that it has already created 5,000 direct jobs in the region.
With the planned expansion, according to Mahindra, the company expects to significantly increase employment opportunities in the next five years.
Mahindra was speaking at the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, being held from December 9 to 11, 2024, in Jaipur.

Club Mahindra currently operates six resorts in Rajasthan.
These include resorts in Kumbhalgarh, home to the UNESCO-listed Kumbhalgarh Fort; Mount Abu, the state’s only hill station; Ranthambore, known for its tiger reserve at Ranthambore National Park; Pushkar, a spiritual destination with the sacred Pushkar Lake and Brahma Temple; Jaipur, the vibrant state capital rich in royal palaces and forts; and Neemrana, where visitors can experience the grandeur of the Neemrana Fort Palace.
Mahindra also said the group’s solar division has committed an investment of ₹11,000 crore in Rajasthan, with 1.1 GW of solar capacity already set up. He further stated that the company plans to expand its solar capacity by an additional 2.8 GW in the state.
“Our history with Rajasthan is a long one, across 4 major areas, we have been manufacturing tractors near Jaipur since 2002. Mahindra World City Jaipur has become a magnet for foreign investors, with 143 companies having invested ₹7,000 crore, creating 63,000 jobs and generating ₹23,000 crores of exports since inception. And we are ready to welcome more,” he said.
The Rajasthan Summit brings together strategic thematic sessions, country-specific showcases, one-on-one business meetings, and more. It will also feature an MSME Conclave and a Pravasi Rajasthani Conclave, aimed at exploring opportunities for small businesses and engaging with the state’s global diaspora.
