Onward Technologies hit upper circuit on strong Q1 earnings


Shares of Onward Technologies locked in upper circuit following robust Q1 results.

The software outsourcing company’s consolidated net profit jumped nearly 80 per cent for the quarter ended June 2025 at ₹12.73 crore as against ₹7.08 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The consolidated revenue increased 13.56 per cent to ₹135.61 crore for the quarter under review as against ₹119.42 crore in the year-ago period. 

Consolidated revenue from operations stood at ₹133.15 crore in the said quarter, and the EBITDA margin was higher at 12.9 per cent, driven by continued focus on operational efficiencies and seamless execution, according to Jigar Mehta, Managing Director, Onward Technologies.

“We are well-positioned to capitalise on growing market opportunities and remain focused on delivering long-term value for our stakeholders. The company remains optimistic about the evolving demand landscape and is committed to investing in talent, innovation, and customer success,” Mehta added.

According to the stock exchange disclosure, the industrial equipment & heavy machinery (IE&HM) segment remained the largest contributor across verticals, accounting for 59 per cent of the consolidated revenues in Q1FY26. Transportation & Mobility (T&M) followed with 36 per cent, and healthcare & life sciences (HCLS) contributed 3 per cent.

The company’s top 25 clients accounted for 85 per cent of the total revenue, reflecting a strong and focused client base. As of the end of the quarter, the total headcount stood at 2,570 employees. The attrition rate for the last twelve months (LTM) was recorded at 16.5 per cent.

The stock traded at ₹374.55 on the BSE, higher by 5 per cent, (also its upper circuit) as at 2.39 pm.
