The markets closed virtually unchanged on Monday as investors remained cautious ahead of anticipated US tariff announcements. The NSE Nifty 50 ended almost flat, adding just 0.30 points to settle at 25,461.30, while the BSE Sensex edged up 9.61 points or 0.01 per cent to close at 83,442.50.
The lacklustre performance highlighted the widespread uncertainty surrounding the impending US-India trade agreement.
