The first order, worth ₹459.6 crore is from the department of tribal and scheduled caste, Chhattisgarh. The contract is for the construction of Eklavya Model residential schools in Chhattisgarh at different locations, including Bastar, Sukma, Dantewada, Narayanpur, Rajnandgaon, Jashpur.
The second order, worth ₹30 crore, is from Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons With Physical Disabilities, New Delhi. The contract is for the construction of a permanent building of composite regional centre at Jamdoli in Jaipur.
Last week, NBCC bagged multiple construction projects worth ₹9,445 crore across four Indian states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Karnataka.
In a stock exchange filing, the company said the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), in its order on Thursday, appointed NBCC as the project management consultant for the completion of 16 projects of Supertech Ltd., spread across the above-mentioned four states.
The projects will include 49,748 houses in these four states. The construction cost of the project is around ₹9,445 crore, including 3% contingency. The Project Management Consultancy (PMC) fees are fixed at 8%, including a 1% marketing fee, the stock exchange filing stated.
Prior to that, the company received an order worth ₹432 crore from the Central University of Odisha. The work includes providing comprehensive project management consultancy services for the construction of a net zero sustainable campus at the Central University at Odisha Sunabeda.
Earlier this month, the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary HSCC (India) Ltd. won orders worth ₹600 crore. HSCC India won two orders from Maharashtra’s National Health Mission.
It also bagged a construction order worth ₹213 crore from the Motilal Nehru Nehru College, New Delhi.
The company’s net profit for the September quarter rose by 52.8% from the same quarter last year to ₹125.1 crore from ₹81.9 crore. Revenue for the period stood at ₹2,458.7 crore.
NBCC’s Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter stood at ₹100 crore, which was 4.6% higher than the same quarter last year.
EBITDA margin, however, narrowed on a year-on-year basis by 50 basis points to 4.1% from 4.6% during the same period last year.
NBCC shares were trading 0.25% higher at ₹103.59 apiece at 11 am on Tuesday, December 10. The stock has gained 89.83% this year, so far.
NBCC shares were trading 2.13% higher at ₹101.4 apiece at 2.35 pm on Monday, December 16. The stock has gained 85.63% this year, so far.
