Indian OTA EaseMyTrip partners with Sabah Tourism to attract Indian travelers

EaseMyTrip, one of India’s major online travel platforms, has signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) with Sabah Tourism Board (STB) to promote the Malaysian state as a destination for Indian travelers. The agreement was signed on February 3, 2025, by STB CEO Julinus Jeffery Jimit and EaseMyTrip COO Nutan Gupta in New Delhi.

The shares of Easy Trip Planners Limited were trading at ₹13.04 up by ₹0.12 or 0.93 per cent on the NSE today at 11.43 am.

Under the partnership, EaseMyTrip will create a dedicated microsite for Sabah under its Malaysia page, featuring comprehensive travel itineraries and destination information. The company will also develop destination-specific content and conduct co-funded digital marketing campaigns to increase visibility in the Indian market.

The collaboration will focus on various tourism segments, including MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), destination weddings, and wellness tourism. EaseMyTrip plans to expand its promotional efforts to Tier 2 and Tier 3 Indian cities and will provide STB with regular reports on traveler preferences and booking trends.

The publicly listed EaseMyTrip, which has grown at a CAGR of 47 per cent during FY20-24 in profits before tax, currently provides access to over 400 airlines and 2+ million hotels worldwide. The company operates international offices in seven countries and maintains a zero-convenience fee policy for bookings.
