IBLA 2024: Bajaj Auto recognised as Outstanding Company of the Year – CNBC TV18

Since its inception by Jamnalal Bajaj in 1926, Bajaj has become a global powerhouse — its vehicles, both two-wheelers and three-wheelers are the lifeline of millions, whether on bustling city streets or on quiet rural roads.

Today, Bajaj Auto exports to Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, generating 1.7 billion dollars in FY24, which account for one-third of its revenues. It holds the Number-one position in 9 out of 12 key export markets. This also helped it breeze past the milestone of 2 million vehicle sold.

Bajaj may be a nostalgic brand, but it does not live in the past. Its ‘Freedom’ is the world’s first CNG two-wheeler. It is pioneering ethanol-powered vehicles and it is the number-three player in India’s electric scooter segment.
