Archies teams up with Magicpin to boost digital gifting sales
Archies Limited, the social expression industry veteran, announced today a strategic partnership with hyperlocal platform Magicpin to expand its digital presence and reach tech-savvy shoppers. The collaboration will offer Magicpin’s 10 million users exclusive discounts on Archies’ products across its 325 outlets in 66 cities.
The shares of Archies Limited were trading at ₹22.50 down by ₹0.92 or 3.93 per cent on the NSE today at 2.55 pm.
Varun Moolchandani, Executive Director of Archies Limited, said the partnership aims to strengthen the company’s position in the gifting category by engaging with a digital-first audience. Magicpin’s CXO for Enterprise Brands, Naman Mawandia, emphasized that the collaboration would provide additional savings to users while expanding Archies’ customer base.
The partnership combines Archies’ 45-year expertise in gifts and greeting cards with Magicpin’s technology-driven marketing capabilities. Magicpin, which processes over $3 billion in annual spending through its platform, will integrate Archies’ products into its network of 275,000 retailers and 3,000 brands.
The companies plan to measure the partnership’s success through sales growth, customer engagement, and repeat purchase metrics, with a focus on seasonal campaigns during peak gifting periods. This move represents Archies’ latest effort to modernize its retail approach while maintaining its traditional strength in personalized gifting.
