Veranda Learning acquires 40% stake in BB Virtuals & 65% in Navkar Digital
Veranda Learning Solutions has taken a 40.41 per cent stake in BB Publications Pvt Ltd (BB Virtuals) and acquired a 65 per cent stake in Navkar Digital Institute Pvt Ltd (Navkar Digital) for an undisclosed sum.
Veranda Learning will acquire an additional 10.59 per cent stake in BB Virtuals by June 2025.
The acquisitions amplify Veranda Learning’s position as a leader in commerce education across India and the company’s commerce vertical is expected to achieve a pro forma EBITDA exceeding ₹120 crores for FY25, says a release.
BB Virtuals, was founded by the Chartered Accountant educator Bhanwar Borana as an online platform for CA and commerce aspirants. It has trained over 200,000 students online, producing more than 500 all-India rank-holders.
Navkar Digital, founded by Hiteshkumar Shah, is an offline education platform for Chartered Accountancy (CA), Company Secretary (CS), and Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) aspirants in Gujarat.
At the time of filing this report, Veranda’s share price on the NSE was trading at ₹237.64, down by ₹3.37 or 1.40 per cent.
