Berkshire Hathaway annual report highlights: Warren Buffett on success, tax contributions, investments


Berkshire Hathaway Inc. has released its much-anticipated 2024 Annual Report, including Chairman Warren Buffett’s letter to shareholders, on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

In his annual letter to shareholders, Warren Buffett, Chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, celebrated the company’s achievements over the past 60 years and acknowledged the occasional mistakes. He reaffirmed confidence in Greg Abel as his successor, praising his ability to identify and act on investment opportunities.

Some of the highlights include the $9 billion increase in cash holdings in the last three months, a $104 billion fall in value of Berkshire’s stock of Apple shares,  $26 billion tax bill and a lot more.
