Tata Power Renewable Energy, subsidiary of Tata Power, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the distribution companies (Discoms) of Rajasthan, including Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam, Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam, and Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam, to accelerate rooftop solar adoption across Rajasthan.

Hero MotoCorp has informed the exchanges that its board has approved the appointment of Vikram Kasbekar, Executive Director, as the acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, effective May 1, 2025. Niranjan Gupta will step down as the CEO effective April 30, 2025, to pursue other opportunities. “Since joining Hero in 2017, Niranjan has strengthened our financial resilience, forged global alliances and laid the foundation for the House of Strategy that defines our future growth journey. His leadership has been pivotal in steering the company towards new frontiers,” Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman, Hero MotoCorp, said.

Three entities, including two promoters of Onesource Specialty Pharma, on Friday divested a 6.8 per cent stake in the company for Rs 1,202 crore through open market transactions. Tenshi Pharmaceuticals (Promoter) and Pronomz Ventures LLP (Promoter Group) and Medella Holdings Pte Ltd have offloaded 77.66 lakh shares or 6.8 per cent stake in Bengaluru-based Onesource Specialty Pharma, as per the bulk deal data available on the NSE. The shares were disposed of in the price range of ₹1,545-1,552.90 apiece, taking the combined value to ₹1,202.23 crore.

CL Educate on Friday said it has acquired the Digital Exam Assessment (DEX) business of NSEIT, a step-down subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE). This acquisition strengthens CL Educate’s position in the fast-growing assessments market, valued at around ₹7,000 crore in India and projected to grow at a CAGR of 12 per cent, reaching ₹13,500 crore by 2028, the company said in a statement.

CuraTeQ Biologics s.r.o., subsidiary of Aurobindo Pharma, has received a positive opinion from the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) within the European Medicines Agency (EMA) for Dyrupeg, recommending the granting of marketing authorisation. The CHMP’s positive opinion is expected to translate into a formal decision of approval by the European Commission in April 2025. Dyrupeg is used to reduce the duration of neutropenia and the incidence of febrile neutropenia in adult patients treated with cytotoxic chemotherapy for malignancy.

Waaree Energies informed the exchanges that its subsidiary, Waaree Clean Energy Solutions, has received a Notification of Award from the Solar Energy Corporation of India for setting up a production facility of 90,000 MT per annum for green hydrogen in India.

KPI Green Energy and its wholly-owned subsidiary, KPIG Energia, have developed and commissioned a total of 40.16 MW of renewable power projects forclients under the captive power producer segment.

Nestle India has added a new KitKat production line at its Sanand factory in Gujarat. The ₹1,100 crore investment in the facility is part of the company’s ₹5,800 crore capital expenditure in greenfield and brownfield projects between 2020-2025, to increase overall capacities to meet future demand. The company also manufactures KitKat at its Ponda factory in Goa.
