LTIMindtree wins application services contract from FLS Mining
LTIMindtree, a global technology consulting company, has secured a partnership with FLS Mining to transform the latter’s application maintenance services. The deal, announced on January 30, 2025, will see LTIMindtree managing and supporting FLS Mining’s complex application landscape while implementing AI and automation tools to reduce complexity and improve business efficiency.
The shares of LTIMindtree Limited were trading at flat at ₹5,881.95 on the NSE today at 12.25 pm.
FLS Mining, a minerals processing supplier to the global mining industry, will leverage LTIMindtree’s expertise to modernize their business applications. Balakrishna Govindan, Head of Business Applications at FLS Mining, emphasized that the partnership is crucial for delivering scalable solutions to their worldwide clientele.
The collaboration builds upon an existing relationship between FLS and L&T Group, LTIMindtree’s parent company. Srini Rao, EVP & Chief Business Officer at LTIMindtree, confirmed their commitment to streamlining FLS’s business processes.
LTIMindtree, which currently serves over 700 clients globally with a workforce of 86,000 professionals across 40 countries, is a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro Limited. The company specializes in digital transformation and technology consulting services. FLS, meanwhile, focuses on providing minerals processing solutions and has set targets for achieving zero-waste mining by 2030 through its MissionZero programme.
