Mahindra Lifespaces expands Bengaluru footprint with 8.2-acre land acquisition

Mahindra Lifespace Developers Limited (MLDL) has strategically acquired 8.2 acres of land in North Bengaluru through its subsidiary Anthurium Developers Ltd, the company announced today. The land parcel has a developable potential of approximately 0.9 million square feet and is projected to generate a Gross Development Value (GDV) of nearly ₹1,000 crore.

The shares of Mahindra Lifespace Developers Limited (MLDL) were trading at ₹394.70 down by ₹5.40 or 1.35 per cent on the NSE today at 1.35 pm.

The site, located off the Bangalore-Hyderabad highway, offers proximity to the international airport, IT hubs, and key social infrastructure. Positioned just 1.8 kilometers from the upcoming Doddajala metro station, the location is expected to attract urban homebuyers. The project will primarily focus on mid-premium residential apartments, marking the company’s seventh venture in Bengaluru.

Amit Kumar Sinha, Managing Director & CEO of Mahindra Lifespace Developers, highlighted the strategic importance of North Bengaluru, citing its potential for strong housing demand. The company plans to launch the project within the next nine months, continuing its commitment to sustainable and thoughtfully designed residential spaces.

This acquisition aligns with Mahindra Lifespaces’ broader vision of expanding its real estate portfolio and reinforces its position in one of India’s fastest-growing real estate markets.
